OTA Upgrade

Over-the-Air

All Skyroam products can be authenticated and updated Over-The-Air (OTA). With access to WiFi or a wireless network, anyone can easily stay in touch with the latest software and firmware versions of Gmate and Gmate+, as well as enjoy any upcoming new features.

OTA Device Verification

Pre-verification: The Gmate client will ask for device verification; it is highly encouraged to do so in order to ensure the authenticity of your device and to avoid counterfeit devices. Once authenticated, you can enjoy all the features and future updates available to all users worldwide.

Verification Success: Once verification is completed and successful, you will have full access to all future updates and services provided by Skyroam.

Upgrade Gmate Firmware OTA

Not limited to software, your Gmate or Gmate+ device firmware can also be OTA upgraded. No physical connection required, just one click and update process will begin (if available).

One-Touch Simplicity

Note: Ensure WiFi or Gmate GPRS network connection when upgrading.
Step 1：Check for Update: If a new update is available, click to begin download.
Step 2：Download & Update: Gmate client will automatically download and update the patch.
Step 3：Restart: The Gmate client will automatically restart after update process is complete.
